Frequently asked questions.

Do you do Video?

I really appreciate the beauty of great video production, and due to the specialised nature and equipment, I leave this field to others. Don’t despair, I’m happy to provide contacts of other experienced videographers of the same great complimentary quality.

Do you travel for weddings?

Travel is adventure, creativity and new opportunity – an all in one that I do enjoy. As a guide travel that involves enough distance to require modest accommodation for safety and meeting your schedule will involve an additional cost.

Who owns copyright?

For domestic events, including weddings, you own the copyright by default. I do ask you for a temporary license to store work with and use your images to provide you my photography services and to promote my work.

What deposit do you require?

I ask for a 25% deposit at the time of booking. In line with Consumer Law this deposit is refundable less any expenses incurred by myself before the wedding. If your wedding is cancelled within a month of the date I may retain the deposit if I was unable to book alternative work for the date.

Can we request RAW files?

Yes. In fact I’m more than happy to supply the RAW files for your archival purposes. The only aspect of this I request is that you talk with me if you want to use these files in the future – to maintain a consistent quality, colour and processing style.
